At our Mayfair Civic Association meeting last week we were advised of a building permit/zoning change application relating to construction at 4522 N Kenton. The owner is rehabbing the existing home at the address. During construction, portions of the roof were increased to 32′, which was not part of the existing building permit that was issued by the city. As a result, the owner is requesting an amendment to the existing building permit and a corresponding rezoning of the property from its current RS3 District to an RS3 District with a variation/administrative adjustment to increase the required height by 10%.
